2015 Gwangju Universiade Organizing Committee (GUOC 2015) has been preparing for the EPICS Forum 2013 jointly working with the UN Office on Sport for Development and Peace (UNOSDP).

UNOSDP and GUOC 2015 made an agreement on the Joint Project last year and the EPICS Forum 2013 is going to be the first edition of the joint work.

EPICS Forum 2013 has been specially designed as an international youth mentoring program dealing with the core social issues in Environment, Peace, IT Innovation, Culture and Sport development.

It is scheduled to take place on Friday, 23 August 2013 at Kimdaejung Convention Center in Gwangju City.

Through the face to face mentoring at the forum day, youth mentees are expected to be inspired by the world mentors from each professional fields bringing their own practical and passionate stories.

The whole forum will be carried on by a famous comedian KIM Young-cheol together with TAE In-young, a professional MC as a former anchorwoman from Arirang TV in English language.

Invited mentees are given participation certificate, registration kit including backpack, USB etc. as well as provided luncheon buffet and snacks during the forum. In addition, shuttle buses are arranged between Seoul, Daejeon and Gwangju on the forum day.
