Exhibition: Hanok.    

The traditional Korean house’s in my eye represent culture and tradition but now most of this houses are disappearing.

In a house when the roof disappears all the things that are under it get destroyed and deformed, it generates conflict between traditional and modern, old things get replaced. This leads to the restructuration of the identity.  

This exhibition is about the artist that left his birth roof to grow up as a stranger under other roofs and after many years when he went back to his first roof, found himself to be a stranger. After 20 year's struggling as an artist and children art educator, now he lives under HANOK as a stranger. 

This is a small insight of a stranger artist looking for home and peace, but not as a stranger or an outsider.
