- Venue: ACC Plaza
- Booths will be arranged by region, which include Asian foods and Asian culture experience booths
Asia Culture Plaza will be held on October 8 to 9 at the Asia Culture Center (ACC) Plaza in downtown Gwangju. If you would like to represent your country by participating in one of the booths, please fill out the form below and submit it by no later than Sunday, September 19. Further details will be confirmed by the GIC (Gwangju International Center) coordinator in charge of the specific booth that you apply. Please note that the registration is not on first come, first serve basis. The registration is open until September 19.
Asia Culture Booth | - 10 countries (10 booths) in Asia - Subsidy: 200,000 won - Participants must provide traditional culture experience program and games of their country. - The booths will be arranged based on regions in Asia. - Experience fee: Free or up to 1,000 won/ person. - Participants must decorate their booths according to the characteristics of each country. - The GIC will provide each booth with subsidy, one tent, tables, chairs and one parking ticket for the day. |
Asia Food Booth | - 10 countries (10 booths) in Asia - Subsidy: 400,000 won (before the event: 200,000 won / after the event 200,000 won) - The booths will be arranged based on regions in Asia. - All food must be in take-out packaging and each booth should have 2-3 menu (beverage is NOT a food menu) - The food can be sold for up to 3,000 won per menu. - Participants must prepare at least 60 servings for all menu. (Ex: total 60 servings, 3 menu = min. 20 servings per menu, or 2 menu = min. 30 servings per menu) - Participants who runs a restaurant/ catering service is not eligible for subsidy. - Cooking/ reheating is STRICTLY PROHIBITED at the venue. - Food must be prepared as finished products and brought to the event venue. - Participants must decorate booths according to the characteristics of each country. - The GIC will provide subsidy, tent, table, chair, one parking ticket for the day, and packing containers.
* All applicants must participate in the Food Evaluation which will take place from Sept. 23 - 28, from 9:30 to 5 pm. Please choose a day and time of your preference in the application form. Attendance is compulsory. |
